2023 Eaton Events

LSMRCE is pleased to partner with Eaton Corporation, a leader in power management technologies, to host several career development events for undergraduate and graduate STEM students across the country.

The events are designed to expose students to various STEM degree career pathways in industry and corporate America, as well as, meet the professionalization needs of the participating scholars.

2023 NSF PI/PD Meeting and BD 20th

LSMRCE hosted a four-day event from June 1st to 4th at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington DC, bringing together diverse LSAMP participants for discussions on promoting diversity in STEM. The event featured keynote speeches, plenary sessions, parallel discussions, and networking opportunities. Thursday and Friday focused on strategies, funding, assessment, sustainability, and future pathways, while Saturday celebrated the 20th anniversary of the NSF LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate initiative, examining its impact on diverse STEM achievements.

2021 NSF PI/PD Meeting

A national program to promote minority students in STEM, the 2021 NSF LSAMP Principal Investigators and Project Directors Meeting will bring together all LSAMP stakeholders to discuss progress, programming, and recent advances in broadening participation. The meeting offers an opportunity for professional development as well as networking opportunities to all participants.
