Tribal Relations Specialist Job Vacancy in Tulsa, Oklahoma

This position is located on the Planning and Operations staff of the Mark Twain National Forest with a duty location in Tulsa, OK. This position serves as a contact for multiple National Forests and American Indian Tribes having an interest in National Forest activities relative to the government-to-government trust responsibility.
Responsibilities • Coordinate training on traditional uses of forests while observing respect to protected lands and practices.
• Coordinate projects to focus on the protection of rights of inter-organization partnerships.
• Utilize social skills to establish and maintain good working relationships with tribal governments and agencies and entities representing them
Requirements and Qualifications • For the GS-12 grade level: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
• If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
Salary: $77,488 to $100,739 per year (Full-Time)
