LSMRCE & IN LSAMP Pre-Conference Poster Session

Program Poster Session Guidelines

Friday, October 25, 2019
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Each NSF-funded program attending the Louis Stokes Midwest Regional Center of Excellence (LSMRCE) Annual Conference is invited to present a poster at the pre-conference evening poster session. The goal of the poster session is to allow grantees to informally present their work to their peers and to promote additional networking and exchange across the Alliances. We invite creative posters that best present the scope of the project and invite discussion around the goals, outcomes and participants of the project.

Poster Guidelines
  • Presenters are responsible for bringing a printed copy of their poster, as well as, upload their poster by October 20.
  • Program posters should provide an overview of their NSF LSAMP project. Posters will be presented during the session by the project principal investigator (PI) or designated representative. Conference attendees are encouraged to engage presenters with questions during the session.
  • Standing poster board and pins will be provided
  • Size: 3ft x 4ft maximum
  • Posters should contain:
    • Title of project
    • Phase of the project (i.e. Phase I)
    • Date awarded
    • Award number and NSF acknowledgement
    • PI, Co‐PIs, evaluator(s) and affiliated organization, backbone organization (if applicable)
    • Organizations and major partners /institutions
    • Activities/Goals
    • Share critical lessons learned, noteworthy accomplishments, and project outcomes aligned to the NSF LSAMP Model: Academic Integration, Social Integration, Professionalization
  • Graphic Note: High resolution images/photographs that best capture the essence of the project and print well in large scale format
