Call for Session Moderators
Moderate 2 sessions and get complimentary conference registration!
The LSMRCE Conference offers 15 presentations over 3 breakout sessions, and we seek one moderator for each presentation, plus 4 backup moderators.
Moderator role
- Timekeeper
- Welcome attendees on behalf of the LSMRCE conference organizers and leadership.
- Briefly introduce yourself and the session presenter(s)
- Assist presenter in fielding questions from the audience (if requested by the presenter)
- Remind attendees to complete the survey
- Alert conference organizers of any technical issues
Ideal Candidates
- Dynamic rising senior or graduate student
- Faculty and professional
- LSAMP program staff and administrators
Time commitment
- Moderate 2 sessions
- Be available at least 15m prior to the start of each session to touch base with your presenter.
